What shipping service do you use?
Our business uses the Ground Advantage through the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all shipping which will include a tracking number for all items. Items will be shipped out in 1-2 business days after payment unless an unexpected event takes place. If this happens, we will contact you right away.
What is a good gift for a coin collector?
It all depends on what they collect. It will be helpful to know whether they collect a type of coin, errors, proof sets, etc. The best gift may be the last coin they need to complete their set. If this is unknown, a good gift may be a coin or a proof/mint set with their birth year. Check out our store for specific dates, and if we do not have what you are looking for, you can contact us any time. We are glad to help.
What is the difference between a proof set and a mint set?
The difference between a proof set and a mint set is how each set of coins was made. A proof set contains coins that are polished with a mirror-like finish by the United States Mint and are usually of higher quality. A mint set contains coins that are similar to the ones you will find in your pocket except the coins in a mint set are uncirculated. They were pulled by the United States Mint before entering circulation to be placed in a protective casing and then sold.

In more recent years, the United States Mint has released both proof sets and silver proof sets. Proof sets contain coins that are clad (copper nickel)-specifically dimes, quarters, and half dollars-while the silver proof sets contain coins made out of 90% silver. The only coins that would be silver are the dimes, quarters, and half dollars.
